More about you:

You are a Certified Personal Trainer with a current certification in Personal Training, Exercise Physiology, Strength and Conditioning, or Exercise in Medicine from a reputable certifying body.

You have 5+ years of experience as a Certified Personal Trainer.

You maintain current knowledge of evidence-based exercise concepts related to lifestyle behavior changes including but not limited to: chronic health conditions, general lifestyle, weight loss, strength and conditioning, cardiovascular fitness, flexibility, etc.

You have a health coaching certification plus a good understanding of behavior change theories and how to successfully implement them with individuals and groups.

You are great at working independently, problem solving, resolving conflict, and multi-tasking.

You are able to work in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to deliver a participant-driven and personalized lifestyle management program.

You have solid presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.

You’re comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with flexible hours based on participant/company needs.

What you’ll do:

You will work with participants both virtually and telephonically (100% remote from home).

You will utilize established tools and protocols to assess participant health status and identify health risks.

You will support a roster of participants in their individual goals and actions steps, plus navigate participants to other specialists/providers offered by Wellview as needed.

You will document goals, behavioral outcomes, and administrative details of all personal training interactions using the Wellview portal.

You will create safe and effective exercise plans with your participants while maintaining up-to-date credentials.

You will support group or family discussions around general fitness topics and goal setting, if needed.

You will manage your time and calendar to ensure appointments are kept and appropriate follow-up is done in a timely manner.

You will navigate participants to helpful resources and tools (referrals, health information, etc.) that are made available to you and/or discovered by you via reputable health and exercise organizations.

You will contribute to internal and external content development.

You will serve as a resource to Wellview Health Advisors and other Care Team members and assist with educational events/focus sessions.

You will attend and contribute to meetings, training, or other job-specific events.

You will keep HIPAA standards of security and confidentiality of participant PHI.
