Registered Dietitian & Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist
I believe that food is medicine, by eating well and staying active we can achieve good health. In 2007 earned my Bachelors of Science at Cal Poly University, San Luis Obispo. After working in the field for a couple of years I pursued a Masters in Public Health and Dietetics from Loma Linda University in 2012. I have practiced nutrition counseling at several clinics throughout my career with various diverse population groups. My experience lies within counseling patients in diabetes, hyperlipidemia, hypertension, food allergies, and pregnant and postpartum women in both English and Spanish. I greatly enjoy helping people be the best version of themselves, I look forward to working with you!
To me, health and wellbeing means balance. Eating well but in moderation, exercising consistently while doing something you enjoy, and being an active member of your community.
