Tanya is a former accountant and middle school teacher who enjoys serving others as they seek to improve their well-being and increase their peace. She is a National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach, an Associate Diabetes Educator, and an Accredited Financial Counselor candidate who specializes in the remediation and prevention of financial stress through financial counseling and education.

Tanya knows the process of change can be scary and that there may be shame around money, so she loves walking with the participant as they assess and address credit reports/scores, debt (credit cards, student loans, collections, etc.), spending, saving, and overall money management. She believes in using all parts of our life (the good, the bad, and the ugly), as well as our unique values, strengths, and personality to inform growth and change behaviors. Her passion is reaching those who feel overwhelmed by their finances through encouragement and reminders that with faith, grace, self-awareness, and persistence, success is possible. She is often heard saying, “Slow and steady wins the race,” “There is nothing wrong with you; you are just a human being,” and “You tell me, what works best for you?”
