B-12 comes in liquid, sublingual, tablet and even injectable forms. This vitamin can boost mental clarity and physical energy, support immune function and assist in DNA development.

Organic Coffee

Pre-workout supplements often contain large amounts of caffeine as a stimulant to help you feel like you have a little pep in your step. These excessive amounts often inhibit sleep and can even push you over the recommendation for healthy adults of 400 mg of caffeine or less per day. An eight ounce cup of joe contains about 91 mg of caffeine which is a little more reasonable than most pre-workout supplements.

Vitamin DThe Institute of Medicine committee recommends those from 9 years old to 70 years old get at least 600 IU per day with a maximum safe upper level of intake, of 4,000 IU per day. If you do not get enough Vitamin D via foods and sunlight, this supplement may be the perfect addition to your daily lifestyle routine. Vitamin D helps absorb calcium, promotes bone growth, supports energy and has been found to help fight diseases like heart disease, depression, multiple sclerosis and even the flu.

Electrolytes

Electrolytes are minerals found in the body’s fluids such as the blood, which have an electric charge.
